linux watch output is not correct after doing reset terminal

Build 1337.

I use Linux 'watch' command to monitor psql process.
After I clicked on "Reset Terminal" button, most of the information is gone (Attachment2).

Procedure:
1. Using SSH connect to a CentOS 7 VM.
2. Type watch command, for example, watch "ps -ef|grep psql"
3. (Please see attachment 1)
4. Click on "Reset Terminal" button
5. (Please see attachment 2)

Program Ver. : Xshell 5

Re: linux watch output is not correct after doing reset terminal

This is normal behavior. The terminal emulator draws or writes in the terminal area only what is sent by the server. After the reset command, everything in the terminal was cleared. Then what is sent from the server was from the watch command.

Many terminal programs such as top, vim, mc, emacs, etc. have a refresh screen command for situations such as these. But unfortunately, watch doesn't have a refresh screen feature as far as I'm aware.
