SHIFT+ArrowKey not working for switching between tabs

Hej all,

I am used to the way tab switching is done under KDE when using "konsole" with multiple open tabs. You can switch back and forth between tabs with "SHIFT+ArrowLeft" and "SHIFT+ArrowRight".

I tried to replicate this under Windows with Xshell - the options are there, but do not work.

I removed the default bindings for "[Tab] Move to next session" and "[Tab] move to previous session" and assigned it as follows:

"[Tab] Move to next session" -> "SHIFT+NACH-RECHTS"
"[Tab] Move to previous session" -> "SHIFT+NACH-LINKS"

(This shows up in German language despite I am using English language settings all the way through)

NACH-RECHTS == Arrow key to the right
NACH-LINKS == Arrow key to the left

Any suggestions?

Thanks a lot,
Bjoern

Re: SHIFT+ArrowKey not working for switching between tabs

We've found the problem and will release a fix as soon as possible.

Until the fix is released you can use the Shift+arrow by editing the key map file which is in your documents folder.

your Documents\Netsarang\Xshell\CustomKeyMap.ckm

In the file, make the following change:

SHIFT+NACH-RECHTS => Shift+Right
SHIFT+NACH-LINKS => Shift+Left

Thanks!

Re: SHIFT+ArrowKey not working for switching between tabs

Awesome!

Thanks a lot, that did the trick.

Now if there would be a way to move the tabs to the bottom the KDE "Konsole" feeling would be near perfekt :)

Greetings,
