Re: corol scheme

This problem might have been fixed in the latest build. Please try updating your Xshell by selecting the Check for updates in the Help menu.

If the problem persists, please send us the following information.

1. Try connecting to a different server and see if the problem persists.
2. Does this problem occur all the time?
3. What is the name and version of the remote host?

Re: corol scheme

I got a request from our development team. Can you send us the Xshell log file with terminal code? To do this, follow the instruction below:

1. Open session properties.
2. Go to the Advanced > Logging
3. Select the Include terminal code option
4. Click OK to save the change

Now, connect to the session and click File > Log > Start . Make sure the prompt is showing on terminal. When you are done, click File > Log > stop and send us the log file.

Make sure terminal codes are included in your log file. It should look something like this:

3.25.csv park.txt
3.25.csvd pivo.c
448bytes.txt pj

Re: corol scheme

The reason I asked you to attach a log file is to look at the color code request sent from the remote host. This information should be included in the terminal code. We need to know which terminal code is sent from the server in order to show color for that terminal code.

Your log is missing terminal code. Please select Include Terminal Code option in the session properties (Advanced > Trace)

If Cisco routers do not send terminal code, then we will have to manually parse prompt and other information.

Re: corol scheme

Thank you for the log files. We will have to parse each element (prompt, IP address and etc.) and assign color for each of these.

This feature has been request as case # 3256.

Re: corol scheme

This feature is added to the requested feature list. We don't think we can add this feature until the next major version which is expected to arrive later this year (beta version).
