Use Up Arrow key to recall the previous session?

Here is a scenario in case I am confusing you with the Title :)

Open xshell v5
Run "ping 8.8.8.8"
Open Sessions window and connect to a saved session (e.g. session to telnet to switch 172.24.1.1)
Enter exit to disconnect from the switch
Xshell returns to local prompt
Press Up arrow key, command "ping 8.8.8.8" is recalled, not the session to telnet to switch 172.24.1.1.

I am wondering if xshell is configurable to recall the last session instead of just previous local commands?

Program Ver. : Xshell 5

Re: Use Up Arrow key to recall the previous session?

Local shell can remember what is typed in by the user.

To reconnect to the previous session, use the command 'reconnect'. You can assign a custom key map for [Connection] Reconnect to access this feature easily.
