a bug for cursor move

when I use python and curses to program, I found a bug(I am not very sure).
remote os: centos5.
Xshell is on winxp.

I use the function window.move(x,y) to move cursor when the right cross button is pressed. When the cursor is moved several times, there will be a black square on the screen, and if resize the xshell window, the black square will be cleared. I thought it is a bug because everything is ok when I use putty(another easy remote shell). There is a image to show the problem.

Program Ver. : Xshell 4

Re: a bug for cursor move

Can you send us the python program?

Also, please send us the following information:

1. What is the terminal type (the result of 'echo $TERM')
2. If the python program is not your own, what is the name and version of the application?

Re: a bug for cursor move

I encountered a similar bug while using midnight commander.
Occasionally part of screen (or whole screen) not updating and became invalid when I moving cursor up and down in file panel or scrolling file in internal editor. Resizing of XShell window helps to update screen (temporary).
Putty works perfect on the same system.

XShell version:
4 (build 128)

Output of uname:
Linux ip-172-31-4-58.localdomain 2.6.32-358.23.2.el6.i686 #1 SMP Sat Sep 14 05:33:24 EDT 2013 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

MC version:
4.8.10 (Russian translated version)

Any suggestions or workarounds?

Thanks a lot!
