Follow-up on xftp try to open /~/xxxx when it is launched from xshell

I downloaded the software tonight and immediately encountered the same issue. Xshell appears try to start Xftp with the current working directory, but uses (I assume) whatever PS1 evaluates to, removing the username@host part if present. Unfortunately, that throws up a big error on the screen and puts an error in the window that says:

STATUS:> Listing folder '/~'...
ERROR:> Listing folder failed.

Understanding what it was doing, I tried to change this in the connection properties window under SSH->SFTP. In that window, there is a "Local" and "Remote" address. Unfortunately, that appears to be ignored.

So, is that two different problems?

Initial folder option under the SFTP menu is used when SFTP protocol is used in Xshell.

We will let you know the progress on the problem soon.
