SSH Cent. OS session loss after wake from sleep on Win XP

I loose my xwindow session after computer wakes up from sleep. Its very inconvinient for me as i am using SQL and i have only 3 sessions. Each time the session ends due to the wakeup. I loose 1 session, because it appears to be active for the server.

Any solution?

thank you

Re: SSH Cent. OS session loss after wake from sleep on Win XP

Windows disconnects network connection when goes in to sleep mode. The easiest way to fix the problem is, of course, configuring PC to not go to sleep mode.

If that is not an option, disabling the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" option may fix this problem. To disable this option, right click the network device in Device Manager and go up to the top and hit Power Management. Then clear the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" option.

Also, be sure that the NIC is set to "Wake on LAN".
