Using XManager with Fedora Core 14

Hi

I want to use XBrowser for XManager 3.0 to connect to a Fedora Core 14 system. The instructions for earlier version of Fedora Core don't apply to Fedora Core 14. I made the following changes to /etc/gdm/custom.conf:

# GDM configuration storage

[daemon]

[security]
DisallowTCP=false

[xdmcp]
#Enable=1
Enable=true
MaxPending=4
MaxPendingIndirect=4
# the default of MaxSessions seems to be 1 !?!
MaxSessions=16
MaxWait=15
MaxWaitIndirect=15
DisplaysPerHost=2
# increase this ^ as necessary

[greeter]

[chooser]

[debug]

I then rebooted. But I still don't see my system in XBrowser.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Program Ver. : Xmanager 3.0

Re: Using XManager with Fedora Core 14

custom.conf file is correct.

The problem is probably the firewall setting on Fedora 14. You have to allow incoming UDP port 177. Have you done this?

If the problem persists, please answer the following questions:

1. What are the IP addresses of your PC and Fedora?
2. Can you access Fedora by entering the IP address on the Xbrowser Address bar?
