Very slow when reading PDF file using X-Manager connected to Solaris

X-Manager log on Solaris, open a PDF file to read, the read effect is very bad when RTT between X-Manager client and Solaris system increased.

when RTT is increased, the effect will become more bad.

When the RTT<1ms,the effect is good.
When the RTT>5ms,the effect is very bad,we should wait for 5s-10s to read one page, especially the pictures in one page is much, the effect is very bad

Program Ver. : Xmanager 2.x
Connection Method : Xstart connection

Re: Very slow when reading PDF file using X-Manager connected to Solaris

Since you are connected via network, RTT will effect the overall performance. This isn't limited to opening PDF files. If you are experiencing bad RTT, it will pretty much degrade any remote connections.

I hope this helps.
