Xmanager version that can be installed on RHEL Linux 4.0

Hi,

I would need to source for the xmanager version that can be installed on RHEL Linux 4.0 server. I am trying to setup a Jumphost for external vendors to access the network elements. Hence, i would need to install something similar to that of the xmanager that's installed on Windows PC.
I already installed the Xterminal. Do i need to configure the XDMCP? And do i need the Gnome terminal or the KDE terminal?

Is there a version that can be installed on Linux? If not, could you advise what other alternatives i can try?

Many Thanks.

Program Ver. : Xmanager 1.3.x

Xmanager is only available for Windows platforms.

You could try using xnest on linux to access the remote linux machines.

You can use Xnest on Linux or UNIX to access the remote UNIX based machines. It certainly lacks many features you can find on Xmanager but more or less you will be able to access the remote UNIX/Linux desktops.

Here is a howto on Xnest:
