How to prevent host listed in Xbrowser?

For some reason , we don't want user got host list when they open Xbrowser, users only connect server by IP or add static session.
How can we do this?

Program Ver. : Xmanager 2.x
Connection Method : XDMCP connection

Re: How to prevent host listed in Xbrowser?

If I am understanding you correctly, you want to disable the auto host detection feature on Xbrowser. Please let me know if I am getting this correctly.

To prevent Xbrowser from dynamically searching for the local host:

1. Open Xbrowser
2. Click Tools > Options.
3. On the XDMCP tab, clear the "use local broadcast address" option.

This will prevent Xbrowser from searching for the local hosts and you can exclusively use the user created sessions.

But it's hard to uncheck "Use Local Broadcast Address" function because there are too many users in a company.

It's there any way that make server do not reply the user's broadcast request so that user won't see servers list.

To the best of my knowledge, broadcast can only be configured on Xbrowser.

You may need to block or change xdmcp port 177.

Is it possible to disable the screen capture and text copy and paste? maybe with a "profile" and control the installation of software? Is there any other easy methods?

Thank you for your feedback. You cannot disable screen capture or copy/paste in the current release. Could you send us the following information to help better implement this feature?

1. What is the feature you are requesting?

2. When do you use this feature?

3. Is this a must-have feature when choosing a product?

Thank you for your cooperation.

1. What is the feature you are requesting?
Due to the security issue. we don't want the users can copy the linux database via
printscreen and copy text. (our dataase is based on plots and text)

2. When do you use this feature?
remote login the linux server.

3. Is this a must-have feature when choosing a product?
yes, for the security and classify data.

Maybe, through the windows adminstrator/ads users to limit build porfiles and disable the text copy. of course, only the adminsitrator can install/un-install xmanager.
