Re: XManager to solaris was slow and halt half way

To use Gnome on Solaris, use the "Automatic Switch" option for window manager. To do this:

1. Open Xstart and click the Advanced button.
Result: The Advanced Options dialog box opens.
2. On the X Server tab, click the Configure button.
Result: Config profile properties dialog box opens.
3. Click the Settings button.
Result: The Window Mode Settings dialog box opens.
5. Select the "Automatic Switch" option from the Window Manager list.

After making the change, try starting Gnome-session again.
