Registration key keeps apearing

 
I have been using the eval copy of XManager. We now have a license, and are past the 30 day trial. Now, whenever I run XManager, I get the popup to enter my registration key. I enter the key, click on OK, and it verifies that I have successfully registered the software. The XManager windoe (I'm in single window mode) still shows Evaluation Only in the window title.

Why does the register key pop-up continue? Do I need to reinstall the software from square one and enter the registration key on that install?

It's pretty annoying to have to keep going back to the email that has my key in it.

Sorry for the trouble.
You can solve the problem by running "C:Program FilesXmanager1.3.9RegKey.exe" directly at the Xmanager folder.

The newest version at our download page will also fix the problem.

I had tried running the regkey.exe, but got the same result. I will try downloading XManager again and re-installing. Thanks.

OK, so I downloaded the 1.3.9 installation again, uninstalled XManager, and now I'm trying to re-install. I get past accepting the license agreement, then on the next window enter my name, my company, and it asks for a serial # - it have "evaluation" defaulted in that field. I have entered my product key, both with hyphens, and without hyphens or spaces. Both times, when I click on Next I get a message telling me to enter a valid serial#.

Am I supposed to enter the product key that I received or is there something else I am supposed to enter in this field? If the product key, then what format do I use? If something else, then what is the serial# and where do I find it?

You need to enter your product key received in the Serial No. field. The format is 999999-999999-999999 and you can enter the 18 digits both with hyphens and without hyphens. Any trailing spaces are removed automatically.

If the problem persists, just enter "evaluation" and register the product key using "Register Now!" program in Xmanager folder. The product key is entered in "C:Program FilesXmanager1.3.9Xmanager.ini" file. You can verify the following key in the file.:

[UserInfo]
SerialNo=999999-999999-999999

If it also fails, please send the following information to support@netsarang.com:

- Your product key
- C:Program FilesXmanager1.3.9Xmanager.ini
- C:Program FilesXmanager1.3.9Xmanager.log

Entering my product key with the hyphens seemed to work today. Either I mistyped the key multiple times (bad typing day???) or the planets weren't properly aligned. Thanks.

I had the same problem, found this thread. The Regkey.exe solution does work BUT you MUST shut down xmanager.exe first then run regkey.exe, then restart xmanager.

The only thing that worked for me was editing the C:Program FilesXmanager1.3.9Xmanager.ini file manually.
