server not work on xmanager after rc command

 
Hi
My server (rp8420) not working by using xmanager but it is work by telnet that after execute this command
< rc test 10.8.1.56 : /home > I am write < rc > instead < rcp > wrongly and after that the session of xmanager of this serve is closed
and not working on it. I am now using telnet only how to solve this problem

rc command changes the system runlevel and by doing so, dtlogin process may have been terminated. Change your runlevel back to 5 and make sure dtlogin process is running.

In my case, I did "init 2", and then "init 5" and it started dtlogin proceess automatically.

what is the file which you want to me change the level of it.
by using init command to level 5.

You don't have to change any file. You have to simply run the dtlogin process. You can run it by executing the following command as root:

/usr/dt/bin/dtlogin -daemonl; exit


If you still can't see the login window, try chaning the runlevel to 2 and then back to 5. Give the following command as a root user:

/sbin/init 2 (This changes runlevel to 2)
/sbin/init 5 (and back to 5)
