Can start xterm from shortcut (or double clicking on .xms file)

I am evaluating the lastest version of XManager. I am having one annoying problem. When I create an .xms file for a session, I am unable to double click on it to start the session. I get the following error: "Session file is broken or corrupted"

Anyone any ideas? I created the file with XStart and I can start a session from there.

Thanks
Gary

Re: Can start xterm from shortcut (or double clicking on .xms file)

The problem occurs due to an incorrect registry information for the new version.
You can remove Xmanager and re-install with the new version at:

/download/download.html

Or else, you can modify the registry information as following:

Key name: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTXstart.xmseditcommand
From: "C:Program FilesXmanager1.3.9Xstart.exe" "%1"
To: "C:Program FilesXmanager1.3.9Xstart.exe" %1

Key name: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTXstart.xmsshellopencommand
From: "C:Program FilesXmanager1.3.9Xrcmd.exe" -f "%1"
To: "C:Program FilesXmanager1.3.9Xrcmd.exe" -f %1

Hope to solve the problem.

I was running into the same problem and resolved it by following SUPPORT's directions. It's a real nuisance to ask your user community to reinstall software to effect a fix. If there's another solution, I would like to know.

Thank you,
