How to set the font size in Xstart

 
Hello all,

I am using Xstart of the Xmanger package
can anybody please tell me how to set the font size in Xstart

If you are starting xterm, you can change the font size in Xstart command line argument like this:

/usr/X11R6/bin/xterm -ls -display $DISPLAY -fn 12x24

FYI, font size is application dependent and you should set it up in each application basis. For instance, within xterm, prese control + right click and select an appropriate font size.

Hello Ron,

but is there a way to define as default a chosen font size.

For instance, I open xterm, ctrl + right click, set LARGE, but once the terminal is closed and reopen I need to do the procedure.

xterm font is configured on the remote size. Please read the following article:

Or, you can start xterm with font parameter like this:

xterm -fa 'Monospace' -fs 14
