Cannot Open Font error message
I have a SuSE 7.2 Linux with WebSphere Application Server installed.
When I open WebSpere from a machine using XManager, I get several error messages stating that Xmanager cannot open -b&h-lucidia-medium-r-normal--*-120-75-75-p-*-iso8859-1
I checked the program out and the dialog statements are calling
jdk-lucidia-medium-r-normal--*-120-75-75-p-*-iso8859-1.
This is defined in the font.properties file in the jdk that WebSphere is using.
I am running a font server on the Linux machine and it is configured to include the directory that contains the fonts called by the font.properties file.
It almost seems that Xmanager is substituting b&h for the jdk in the file name, then it cannot open it because the fonts name has jdk in it, not b&h. I have tried turning font substitution off.
Any ideas?
