Unable to connect

I have trying to use Xmanager 2.0 to connect. Whenever i try to login via the ssh protocol it returns an error message as follows:

[19:54:25] Sent password.
[19:54:25] Access granted.
[19:54:25] Sent X11 forwarding request...
[19:54:25] Succeeded.
[19:54:25] Sent the command line.
[19:54:25] /usr/X11R6/bin/xterm -ls -display $DISPLAY
[19:54:25] Start timer (TIMER_SHUTDOWN, 180).
_X11TransSocketINETConnect() can't get address for localhost:6010: Name or service not known
/usr/X11R6/bin/xterm Xt error: Can't open display: localhost:10.0

The log is as above. Any help regarding this would be solicited. I have also checked the firewall settings. They seem to be ok.

Re: Unable to connect

There seems to be a problem in /etc/hosts file.
Try to add the following line to /etc/hosts file: localhost
