Never heard of Usue Linux before. I googled it but no success. I want to help you out but first, I need to find out about the specific Linux machine you are using.

Where can I find information about this particular Linux? Official website would be helpful.

Re: Re: Re: problem connect to usue linux pro 10 x-windows for Xstart

Suse 10 installs the SSH server by default. So in Xstart, choose SSH for connection method.

Also, you need to enable the X11 forwarding feature in the SSH server. Set the X11Forwarding value to yes in /etc/ssh/sshd_config.

If this fails, turn on the "Show reply messages" option in Xstart and run it again. It should open up a Xrcmd: Reply Messages window. And post the message in your next reply.

Re: I still canned resolve this problem

There is no sign of error in your log. It says xterm has been started successfully. Maybe the xterm window has started outside the viewing area. Click on the xterm icon in the task bar then follow the instruction below:

1. Right click on the xterm taskbar icon.
2. Click move.
3. Press CTRL key and any arrow key simultaneously.
4. Do not click yet and move your mouse pointer to the center of your screen.
RESULT: Application window should appear.
5. Now left click where you want to release the window.

Did it work?

How to solve this problem

I can't start x-windows(startx) at xterm window!
When I start x-windows at xterm window,it appears in server not local xterm window. When I close xterm window, the server x-windows close simultaneously.
