locating saved x-start session info

We are using xmanager shopwide to connect desktops with our Linux server. When setting up a new user pc with xmanager, which has to be done as administrator in our environment, I would like also to configure the connection information for xstart to connect with our computer. Even if the option is selected to make xmanager available to all users, it seems to store the session setups separately by user. This makes a bit of sense, as users can elect to save their passwords with the session set up. My problem is that i can't log in as my users, because I don't know their password, but would like to set up the necessary connections for them as admin. I was hoping I could figure out where xmanager stores this info, so that I could move it into their profile (or whatever). What do I have to do? Any sollution?

Re: locating saved x-start session info

Xmanager stores Xstart sessions at: "C:\Documents and Settings\%USER%\Application Data\NetSarang\Xmanager\2\Xstart\"

For shared sessions, it stores them at: "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NetSarang\Xmanager\2\Xstart\"

Shared sessions are shared by all users in the same Windows. Only the users who have administrative privilege can change the settings of a shared session.

A better solution to deploy an Xstart session could be done with an email attached with a session. To do that, run Xbrowser, click "Xstart sessions" in the View menu, right-click on an Xstart session, point to "Send To", and then click "Mail Recipient".

Each user can import a session by dragging it and dropping on the Xbrowser window. Once a session is added to Xbrowser, it appears in Xstart too.

You can also deploy Xmanager profiles (Xconfig settings) in the same way.

Hope this helps you.
