CONNECTING IN FROM HOME
Thanks for the response to the "Willing, but /etc/X11/xdm/Xwilling, failed", my boss is looking at the PC now. We have another question, that I think we know the answer for, but wanted to confirm it, or have you correct us.
We want to connect in from home (thru cable modems). From what I have been able to find the procedure would be:
1. On our PCs at home, we would add in the IP address of the PC that has our WINROUTE PRO (a commerical package) on it, and give it a port # (see the next item).
2. In WINROUTE PRO, we tell it that if it comes in on port ###, to connect to port XXXX of IP YYY.YYY.YYYY.YYYY (internal IP).
We would appreciate either confirmation, or correction to the above.
