Enviorment variables are not set correct

Hi All!

I use the a Terminal window form the XManager to run a simple Shell script!
In the script there is a statement " export LD_LIBRARY_PATH = .....

If I start this in the Terminal window it don't work! The Env. Variable is not set correctly.
With a simple telnetsession it works fine!

What do I have to do to run the script in a XManager Termial window?

Uwe

Re: Enviorment variables are not set correct

Please check if the same shell is used for both xterm and telnet session. And also, if you run an xterm using Xstart, please try to remove or add "-ls" option.:

/usr/bin/X11/xterm -ls -display $DISPLAY

The "-ls" option is used to process ".login" script.

If this doesn't fix your problem, let us know your shell program and other useful information such as the output of "env" command.
