Cannot bind shift+F4 in kde key bindings, stability

I have grown accustomed to binding "maximize vertically" and horizontally to "shift+f4" and "shift+f5" respectively.

I cannot enter that keycombination through xmanager though. It works fine, logging in directly.

I hope that 1.3.9.5 is more stable than 1.3.9.1 (even had LyX crash, when deleting a selection).

I have the same problem with Exceed, another X emulator. I don't know why KDE control center processes the Shift+F4 key differently. It works well with Shift+K sequence.
