how to connect xmanager to openwin of sun 5.5.1?

there is no cde on sun5.5.1 so i cant connect to it through xbrower, but i can run /usr/openwin/bin/openwin on the console. when i run Xstart and command line with "/usr/openwin/bin/xterm -ls -display $DISPLAY", i can see a xterm window, but nothing occured when i run "openwin".
how to run openwin on my xmanager? thanks very much.

If your sun has no CDE installed, you can run an "xdm" process to get a login window. Please do the following steps to do it:

1. Open /usr/openwin/lib/X11/xdm/Xservers file with an editor.
2. Comment out the following line in the Xservers file:

#:0 Local local /usr/openwin/lib/X11/xdm/StartX

3. Login as a root and run "/usr/openwin/bin/xdm".

This will enable XDMCP connections.

If you want to get an OpenWindows environment with the Xstart program, please read "Getting Started->Environment Setting for Each System->Sun OpenWindows Connection" on Xmanager Help.

Hope to solve your problem.
