Session Failed

Session Failed

 
I am unable to connect to a UNIX machine from my PC using a 30-day trial license of XManager (waiting for purchasing decision to finalize). The log contains the following info:

Any suggestions?

The problem is caused by the private IP address of your Windows machine. When your Windows machine is located in a private network and you tries to connect to a remote Unix machine that is in another network, the dtlogin process in the remote Unix cannot reach at Xmanager in Windows. It is because Xmanager is a server software listening TCP port 6000.

If an ssh server is running on your Unix, you can run an xterm and then run /usr/dt/bin/Xsesion to get a CDE desktop.
