Displaying Chinese, Korean and Taiwanese character in Xmanager.

Hi,
I want to display Chinese, Taiwanese and korean fonts on X-manager(1.3.9) Registered Version, which is installed on
Win NT 4.0 (English). My Solaris box is:
"SunOS sun 5.8 Generic_108528-13 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-250"
I have downloaded and Installed the Chinese and Taiwanese fonts. But they do not work.
I would be grateful if my queries can be answered.
The queries are:

1) The specific locale I want for Chinese, Taiwanese and Korean environment are:
Chinese:zh_CN.GB18030
Taiwanese:zh_TW.BIG5
Korean: ko
What fonts I need to install for the above specified locales.

2) Sometimes, It has been observed that, even after installing the fonts, the fonts are not available in the X-Session. What is the work around for that.

Please do let me know of your responses at the earliest.

Regards
Anurag Shukla

Re: Displaying Chinese, Korean and Taiwanese character in Xmanager.

You can download the font packs at:

zh_TW.BIG5: http://download.xmanager.com/files/fonts/zhtw.exe
ko: http://download.xmanager.com/files/fonts/solaris.exe

For the zh_CN.GB18030 locale, there is no font pack available. We will prepare it soon. You can try to add a font server in the Xconfig. For more information on font server, please read FAQ #1 at:

Re: Displaying Chinese, Korean and Taiwanese character in Xmanager.

A new Chinese font pack is available at:

http://download.xmanager.com/files/fonts/chinese.exe

It includes the following locales:

- zh_CN.GBK (gbk, gbk1988.1989, gb18030.2000)
- zh_CN.EUC (gb2312.1980, gb1988.1989)
- zh_TW.EUC (cns11643)
- zh_TW.BIG5 (big5)

Hope to solve the problem.
