XManager shuts down as soon as desktop displayed on Solaris 2.6

I am using XManager to connect to multiple Sun Solaris systems (2.6). On most of these systems I can connect no problem and get to work. On one particular system XManager starts up and I get the Solaris CDE desktop for second, and then the XManager window shuts closes. As far as I can tell that Solaris system is configured the same as the others and I didn't do anything to any of the systems to allow XManager to connect to them. Does anyone have any suggestions what is going on?

Thanks in advance for your help,
Doug

Re: XManager shuts down as soon as desktop displayed on Solaris 2.6

Please read the following log files in Solaris:

- /var/dt/Xerrors (if the CDE shutdowns before login)
- $HOME/.dt/errorlog (after login)

And also check if your shell scripts has a line that sets up "DISPLAY" variable such as:

setenv DISPLAY :0.0

or

export DISPLAY=:0.0

If it does, please comment it out.
