Re: I can sucessful connect to AIX, but when I remove it and resetup it again, I can not connect to AIX!

Please check the FAQ #1 at:

/support/faq.html

If the problem persists, provide us with the following:

- C:\Program Files\Xmanager1.3.9\Xmanager.log
- /var/dt/Xerrors in the AIX

Also let us know if the login window appears or not.

Hope to solve the problem.

Re: Re: Re: I can sucessful connect to AIX, but when I remove it and resetup it again, I can not connect to AIX!

Please try to add a font server in the Font tab of Xconfig. You can read FAQ #1 to set up font server in AIX:

/support/faq.html

Also, Xmanager.log file would be helpful.

Re: Re: Re: Re: I can sucessful connect to AIX, but when I remove it and resetup it again, I can not connect to AIX!

but other PCs of windows(including XP, 2000, 98) in the same subnet can connect to the AIX successfully, only my XP can't.
and I added a font server in the Font tab of Xconfig. but the problem still exited.
When I try to Run "xfs&[Enter]" and
Run "fsinfo -server AIX_IP_address:7100" in AIX,
the information is:
xfs error: cannot establish any listening sockets.
Another fontserver may be using the same socket.

[1] + Done(1) xfs&

and:
ksh: fsinfo: not found

now what can I do? thanks for your kind and staminal help!

Please provide us with the "C:\Program Files\Xmanager1.3.9\Xmanager.log" file after trying to connect to the AIX.

According to the log messages, the AIX cannot reach at your Windows XP. Please check again the firewall settings in your PC.
