Unable to do anything after list director error

I use a socks4 proxy to help connect.
after I entered /pub/redhat/linux/enterprise
I tried to enter ./4 directory and get an error message.
Then I can do anything on the file browser.

The site is ftp.redhat.com

Re: Unable to do anything after list director error

We have tried duplicating this problem on our SOCKS4 proxy server (using Xshell) and Xftp, but the problem could not be duplicated.

However, listing folder may fail when the port on your PC, that the FTP server is trying to reach, is being used by another application. In this case, reconnecting may fix the problem.

If your problem persists, please send us the following information:

1. Vendor/version of the SOCKS4 Proxy server
2. Does this problem occur intermittently or always?

Thank you for your cooperation.
