xftp try to open /~/xxxx when it is launched from xshell

xftp try to open /~/xxxx when it is launched from xshell

I am using XShell3.0, however when I click the xftp icon located on the XShell toolbar, a xftp window will appear and try to open /~/xxxdx directory.

I know that you mean to open the current working directory in the xftp window, but the directory path should be something like ~/xxxx, am I right?

Would you please explain more on how xftp get the path? from the shell prompt? or $PWD? BTW: I am using Redhat 5, bash shell.

Program Ver. : Xshell 3.0

I made further tests. It seems that the xftp cannot recognize ~ nor $HOME.

Is it a bug?

I just downloaded your recent updates, however, this problem seems still open....

Do you have any plan to solve this issue?

Fix will be added in the March release. It is scheduled for release during the last week of March.
